Milan Fashion-week January 2011
UOMO!
"I personally found Milan more alive then ever this season..specially in the street, during the small parties in some showrooms and in the crazier super-trendsetter restaurants that make Milan the metrosexual city for the MAN 3.0 of the next winter!!!
The season’s trends you could strongly notice in the warm friendly relaxing and cool trade-show, both in Milan and Florence! The mood at the Pitti and at the White show were: parkas, emenglish knitwear used as coat, Montgomery, casual double-breasted jacket, chinos pants and boots!
Some of the relevant name are: Bark knit, Laneus, Red Wing boots, Trama jacket, Incotex-Red pants.."
"The shows i really think it was worth to be seen were:
UMIT BENAN:
He perfectly understood what a man wants..chic, casual ,fashion, with a classic twist! Great fabric and a perfect allure of the look..
I want be these men!!!"
"An other interesting and unmissable show was Alexander McQueen where the face of each models was such a complement to the clothes he was wearing that the English quintessence and the Oscar Wild mood of the collection was strikingly reinforced and absolutely stand out the force of the outfit."
"An other must see show was Bottega Veneta..Meier say "To evolve, you have to reinvent what you already have," and that’s what he did, monochrome dark wool suits, very important were the fabric textured, the jacket lapels turned up and doubled by the addition of a lapel scarf; trousers tucked loosely into ankle boots..mannish elegant distressed-sport-chic always cool look!"
"And as they say: Save the best for last!!! There was Moncler Gamme Bleu!
I think everyone SHOULD own a Moncler once in a lifetime!
Puffer parkas, grey suits, all kind of check and a touch of black and we are on a ride!"
